Overview

During the season we are based an arrow shot away, so our normally delightful son does not inflict his rare teenage moods on unsuspecting guests and we are close enough to service your needs or deal with any problems, but not get in your hair.

Our chalet is substantially built of stone and wood and the walls are not built of French building grade cardboard where the merest whisper will carry throughout the entire chalet so your children won’t be woken up if the adults' evening runs on until the wee hours.

Unlike many French owners who could get 16+ into the chalet we do not believe that bunk beds in a corridor, sofa beds with no privacy or beds squashed into bedrooms that you either have to inch sideways around the bed or clamber over your partner is what our guests expect when they come on holiday. Bedrooms are in the main generously proportioned all beds are full sized with comfortable mattresses and two feather pillows per person, duvets and spare blankets (that so far have never been needed) so you are certain of a good night’s sleep. We understand that most people bring more than a small rucksack on a skiing holiday and you can expect more than average storage space with wardrobes and drawers for every room.

We really want you to enjoy your holiday and realise that different people want different things. Our flexible service means we will be available to do as much or as little as you want, be it just cleaning the chalet or running you to and from the airport or slopes, ski hosting, providing meals or just topping up your glass.
During the winter your chalet girl will provide a wide smile and warm welcome and ensure that there is a fire laid and that the chalet is nice and tidy on your return.
